Summer @AMP: Art Play

Half-day creative adventures

Ages: 6–8
Dates: Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18
Time: 8:30–11:30am
Teaching Artist: Kwadwo Adae
Partnership: Adae Fine Art Academy
Fee:
$200

Fun art adventures—indoors and out. Designed for energetic 6-to-8-year-olds, Art Play transforms natural curiosity into artistic discovery. Kids will explore through hands-on projects that combine art-making with outdoor adventure. They’ll invent their own treasures in an art room filled with markers, paints, and unusual materials. And they’ll climb, run, and laugh in AMP’s nature playground. Our experienced teaching artist will guide your child, helping them build confidence and express their creativity—all in a safe, supportive environment.

In this playful approach to art, your child will:

  • Paint, draw, and play every day.

  • Create 3-D sculptures with natural and recycled materials.

  • Tell stories with their art.

  • Build problem-solving skills through creative projects.

  • Make new friends while making art.

Perfect for budding artists and active explorers, Art Play balances structured creativity with playful discovery. Kids just bring their curiosity and enthusiasm!

This is a small group, half-day summer program.
